This spring, Aurora Network — together with our partners at System & Generation — welcomed youth workers from across Europe to Krushevo, North Macedonia for Grounded Across Cultures, an Erasmus+ seminar on mental well-being, nature-based learning, movement, and intercultural dialogue.
Over five days (14–20 April 2026), nature became our classroom. Participants learned each other’s names through leaves and stones, practised breathwork by the lake, found the courage to cold plunge, built herbariums of healing plants, made art from branches and fallen leaves, and discovered how storytelling can be one of the most powerful tools in youth work. The seminar was financed by the Erasmus+ Programme and the Turkish National Agency.
We arrived as strangers and left as a community. You can read the full story on our Grounded Across Cultures project page.
