From 17 to 24 November 2025, young people from different European countries came together in the mountainous region of Lika, Croatia, to explore what sustainable living means and how everyday choices can make a real difference for the environment.
About the exchange
The youth exchange “Green Skills & Sustainability for Youth” took place at the Outward Bound Croatia Educational Centre in Veliki Žitnik, where nature became the main space for learning, reflection, and cooperation. Aurora Network participated in the project as a partner organisation with young Macedonian participants who were actively involved in this experience, learning, sharing, and building common visions together with peers from other countries.
What we explored
Through hands-on outdoor activities and teamwork, participants explored sustainable lifestyles and green daily choices, ecosystems, nature protection, and tackling pollution, and intercultural learning, cooperation, and solidarity.
Closing note
The project created a meaningful space for learning through experience, exchanging ideas, and building friendships, all within an environment surrounded by forests, fresh air, and inspiration. The project was implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme, hosted by Outward Bound Croatia.
